As the Pioneers in this extraterrestrial journey, we discovered an intriguing anomaly, what we’ve come to identify as a matrix, an astral island shimmering with pure, untamed energy.

Intriguingly, within these matrices, we found Lumens, the quintessential resource.

This is part two of our Pioneer Build introductory series; in our last article, “Enter Matrix World,” we looked at what landowners should expect when first entering the world.

Following the unearthing of Lumens, the resource of Matrix World, we initiated the terraforming and colonization of each matrix. Our focus has been on cultivating them into habitable environments to accommodate our growing populace.

Lumens in Matrix World

As we continue to advance, we are eager to reward our users for their active participation in the ongoing development of Matrix World. Landowners are set to receive recurring, claimable allocations proportional to the size of the land they own.

Users without land ownership can also reap Lumens as a reward. Participation is one way, and another method is through our asteroid drops that occur randomly throughout the world. With a unique sound accompanying their descent, these asteroids crash into the matrices, indicating that Lumens are near you. You will surely know if an asteroid drop is close by!

Lumens serve as an incentivization mechanism and can also be utilized for purchasing in-world assets. These assets span a wide range, from buildings and furniture to avatar customization options and beyond.

It’s important to note that Lumens will maintain its operations and transactions independently from a blockchain. This ensures smooth and speedy transactions.

[Updated] Since the release of this article, the team has decided to push back the launch of Lumens to spend more time on the economy design and ensure a successful launch. As we finalize more details, we will share them with the broader community. Please note, however, that all information provided in this article is subject to change.
