Matrix Universe @ University of British Columbia: “Web3 Beyond the Hype”

Class is in session, Matrix Universe family!
On March 24th, our Chief Scientific Officer, Alvin Sun, hosted an Open Class session at the University of British Columbia on “Web3 Beyond the Hype: Real-World Case Studies of Web3 Technology Elevating Products and Meeting User Needs.” During the session, he shared practical examples that showcased how blockchain technology has transformed products, meeting the evolving demands of today’s users.

During the event, we had the pleasure of showcasing and demoing Matrix Universe’s new products: Matrix World, our multichain 3D metaverse that acts as an interactive social hub; Matrix Intelligence, our AI-augmented services to power user-generated content; and Matrix Treasure, our UGC-system that would allow creators to platform their content in an autonomous and empowering manner.
This demonstration not only highlighted the practical application of Web3 technologies in real-world products but also showcased its revolutionary potential in enhancing digital online experiences. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended and actively engaged in these thought-provoking discussions.
Additionally, we are also proud to announce that Matrix Labs, the team behind Matrix Universe, has been granted a two-year Mitacs funding grant to support Master’s and Ph.D students from the University of Alberta to facilitate their active involvement in the research and development efforts towards the Matrix Universe project. We believe in nurturing the next generation of talents and driving innovation forward.
